BECOME A LINEMAN

Begin a rewarding electrical services career, full of opportunity for advancement, with an Apprenticeship at Volt

Volt’s competency based, DOL certified Apprenticeship program consists required classroom and field-based on-the-job training. As apprentices become proficient in designated skills, they advance through the Apprentice Linemen program and ultimately graduate as well-trained, skilled linemen. Our apprenticeship program is Federally certified.

Learn the skills you’ll need to advance from lineman to foreman or general foreman with Volt’s Foreman Leadership Program 

Our leadership programs are directed toward lineman who’d like to advance to foreman or general foreman positions. Our Front Line Leadership Development Program teaches front line leaders to successfully management their teams. Our Foreman Leadership Program identifies and develops future leaders by accelerating their skills in team leadership, project management, and maximal revenue production.

Volt’s headquarters are in Atlanta, Georgia and we have 12 field offices — and growing — in 18 Southeastern, Southwestern, East Central and Midwest States. In addition, our storm crews often respond to emergencies outside our active footprint.
